Abigail is special...

She is about half the size of her littermates & could not compete with her larger littermates when it was time to nurse.  We decided to take her into our personal care.  She has been bottle fed since 2 weeks of age & stays in the house making her very people oriented (can you say SPOILED).  She is a soft & fuzzy bundle of love.  Fair warning, she intends to steal your heart away the first moment you see her!

Mary has badger blaireau markings and has definitely inherited the classic bear shaped face and stocky build from her parents.  Her temperament is beyond compare ... a sweetheart in every way!  She has had an early start with goats.  Born on April 19th, she's at the perfect age to come home with you.

If you want large, Washington is your boy. He promises to be a good size male like his father, Jake. Washington also has the big bear shaped face that many people love. An added bonus is that he possesses his father's temperament too... a big, lovable teddy bear. Jake ( the father) is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever known. A favorite around here if we were pressed to pick favorites. Jake is also an excellent livestock guardian.  I would predict that Washington will follow in his father's foot/paw-steps on all accounts. Some of the color you see on Washington will likely fade as he matures although I would suspect that he will keep the dark markings around his eyes and on his ear tips.

Everything said above about Washington also applies to Apple.  They are both equally the largest in the litter and virtually identical except for the difference in their markings.

JAKEMAN JEFFERSON

If you prefer all white, Jakeman would be your choice. He is maturing into a funny, friendly, charming fellow.  He adores our male, Guardian, & is learning the ropes from him while "protecting" our Pygmy goats.  Jakeman would enjoy the company of another Pyr/dog.  He would be a wonderful farm companion & will most probably be an adept LGD ...he's a little young to tell right now :)  Jakeman has finished all of his puppy shots, including rabies, and is good for a year before any booster vaccinations would be due.  Please notice two more photos of Jakeman below, next to his brother Mugs Monroe.

Mugs Monroe (on the left)

That's me (Mugs) on the left in the pictures above.  That's my brother Jakeman next to me.  He thinks he's hot stuff stayin' clean with the white fur & everything.  The honest truth is though, that he plays in the water trough sometimes too.  I'm all boy & prefer to look like a hardworkin' guardian.

Mugs is quite the character.  While he would undoubtedly make a fine Livestock Guardian when he matures, his temperament is also ideal for bonding with a child.  We've seen other Great Pyrenees make a significant positive impact in a youth's life and Mugs has all of the earmarks you would expect to fulfill this role.  Mugs has finished all of his puppy shots, including rabies, and is good for a year before any booster vaccinations would be due.
