Michaela is now about six months of age and has been in training for about four months. She fits into the training program well, taking her cues from the older dogs.
At this age she certainly couldn't be expected to guard a herd on her own, but that's typical. She is displaying no bad behaviors, and gets along well with all the other animals - including the goats.
Michaela shows a great deal of intelligence and independent spirit. She will undoubtedly mature into a well balanced adult Pyrenees. Whether you are seeking a devoted family pet, or a guardian dog for your herd, she is an ideal choice.
Disclaimer: I hate to admit
this, but I have trouble telling Gabrielle and Michaela apart unless I'm up
close. I may have their pictures reversed.
