Every animal receives a full battery of immunizations.

Providing healthy animals is our number one concern -- not only for you, our customer, but for the continued success of our kennel operations as well.  Not to mention our love for our animals...

Starting the day a new litter is whelped in our kennels, every pup is provided a good healthy start with every possible means we know how to provide.  Adult dogs under our care receive the best ongoing treatment as well.

A 30 DAY HEALTH GUARANTEE is conveyed to you for any dog you purchase. 

This means that you can be confident that your new dog has had the very best treatment and you can rest assured that your new dog is off to a good healthy start.  And we back it up with an offer to pay 100% of your vet bills if your dog becomes sick (up to the purchase price of the animal).  Read more details below.

In addition, a ONE YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE will remain in effect as long as you continue keep the dog up to date on their normal routine medications.  We will provide you with a medical history (see example) on the animal which will also let you know when any future routine treatments are due.  There is no additional charge for this guarantee.  Read more details below.

To take advantage of the one year Health guarantee offered by us, you must continue to keep the animal up to date on all of the above treatments as they come due.

We want you to take good care of your dog.  That's the bottom line.  The offer of a one year long health guarantee is intended to motivate you into doing everything you can to keep your dog healthy.  These Great Pyrenees are sometimes more like humans than dogs, and they deserve the best ongoing preventative medical treatment you can afford to give them.

Some of the treatments above may not always be applicable to a dog you might purchase from us.  This is mainly because some of the treatments are age dependant, and with others, young pups and adults will receive alternate levels of treatment.  Don't worry about the details right now.  To help you understand when your dog needs routine care, we will provide you with a medical history on the animal which will also let you know when any future routine treatments are due.

 

HEALTH GUARANTEE DETAILS (THE FINE PRINT):

  1. Any animal covered under either Health Guarantee is to be promptly treated, or immediately returned to us.  We request that you notify us as soon as possible at Pyrenees Ranch about any medical problems your dog may encounter, however do not delay medical treatment pending this notification.  You are responsible for providing adequate medical treatment for your dog.  Do not wait for permission from us before seeking medical treatment.
     
  2. The Health Guarantee can be used by you in one of two ways.  You may choose whichever scenario works best for you, but you may only opt to use ONE of them.

    Scenario (a)  You can be reimbursed for vet bills and medicines.  This covers 100% of your out of pocket expenses, up to an amount equaling the original purchase price of the dog.  Retain your receipts and paid invoices.  You must be willing to provide us with a copy of those.  We reserve the right to examine proof of your expenses before authorizing any payment to you.

    Scenario (b)  You may receive a full refund.  You are obligated to return the animal to us, except in the case of a deceased animal, in which case a death certificate shall be provided. 
     
  3. The Health Guarantee does not cover any treatments described as routine care.  Those expenses are to be paid by you and will not be reimbursed.  This would include, but is not limited to, routine recommended vaccinations, heartworm preventative treatment, De-worming, Flea & Tick control, Vet health checks.
     
  4. You need to understand that this Health Guarantee is not intended to be accident insurance, nor is there any coverage included for any type of accidents, or any illness which results from an accident.
     
  5. Our maximum payment to you shall not exceed your original full purchase price. 
     
  6. The Health Guarantees do not cover any transportation, feed, or any other related costs which you might incur.
     
  7. Our health guarantees do not apply to animals described as rescue animals, due to our limited knowledge of their medical history.  The 90 day PERFECT FIT GUARANTEE, and the LIFETIME HOME GUARANTEE do however still apply to rescue animals.
     
  8. The terms for the extended one year health guarantee are the same as described above, with the following exceptions:  To qualify for the extended one year health guarantee, you must keep the dog up to date on the treatments and vaccinations described above.  Retain your receipts and paid invoices.  You must be willing to provide us with a copy of those.  We reserve the right to examine proof of your expenses before authorizing any payment to you.
